Conserve Utah Valley was one of 14 sponsors for the recent Utah Lake Symposium held at Utah Valley University. There was a high level of interest from the community and the symposium was a huge success. There were a total of 475 live attendees (245 in-person and 230 online), including dozens of local, county, and state leaders with 23 speakers and contributors from all the major universities and environmental agencies in Utah plus local government and business. The symposium received substantial media attention before and after the event (example TV spot from ABC4). Specifically, both the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News will be releasing a series of articles on Utah Lake over the next 6 months.
